AMI Faculty Appointed to Technical Advisory Board
The newly formed Advanced Manufacturing, Materials, and Processes (AMMP) program, part of the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS), and in collaboration with the United States Army Research Laboratory (ARL), advances AM to create manufacturing breakthroughs.
Associate Professor Krishna Muralidharan was recently appointed to the AMMP Technical Advisory Board (TAB) and took part in the Spring 2019 meeting. TAB members meet quarterly to review progress of the overall program, individual projects, define the continued vision and focus areas for funding in additive manufacturing, and plan next steps for AMMP.
The member-based organization leverages industry, government, and academia partners to develop, demonstrate, and transition innovative technologies to the Army.
